Winter Skin Craves Hydration!

A cost-effective way to seal in moisture - Paraffin.

Many people suffer the effects of cold weather and heated houses in the form of dry, crepe-paper skin on their hands and feet. A simple yet very effective (not to mention blissfully warming) way to combat this is to enjoy a Paraffin Hydrating Treatment for hands and/or feet. Paraffin is the type of wax used in the treatment, and we heat it in a single-use mitt or foot bootie using a steamer unit (ensuring safe, sanitary and perfect temperature each time). Deep moisturizing lotion is massaged onto hands and feet while the paraffin warms. Once the paraffin is ready, the mitts are slipped on to hands and feet. The wax creates a warm cocoon allowing the skin to receive the moisture along with vital nutrients in the lotion. At treatments end, the paraffin gently slides off leaving your hands and feet soft and silky.

We do this as an add-on to other treatments so you can enjoy this deep-penetrating hydrating service as you relax with your massage or facial.
